When we come to the edge
of the light we know, and are about
to step off into the darkness of the unknown,
of this we can be sure … either God will provide
something solid to stand on or … we will be taught to fly.

The poem is a slight variation derived from the poem “Faith” by Patrick Overton. www.patrickoverton.com
I am in the middle of packing up my entire life . . . okay, well just all of my belongings . . . and putting it in a storage locker by Saturday night 2/24, then hopping a plane to Florida to help out my Mom for a month. It is a little scary. I have no idea where I will live when I get back home to Washington.
Though this gives me the freedom to fully check out the situation with my Mom it is also fairly frightening to allow everything to be so beyond the “light that I know” and trust that there will be something solid to stand on (and live in) when I come back.
